NBank Startup Grant

As the development bank for Lower Saxony, the Investitions- und Förderbank Niedersachsens (NBank) supports the state in its structural and economic policy initiatives. The NBank is committed to providing expert support for the economy, the labor market, housing, and infrastructure.

NBank Startup Grant

The startup grant from the Investment and Development Bank of Lower Saxony (NBank) aims to promote startup activity in Lower Saxony. To this end, it provides support to founders in the early stages of their ventures.

The following conditions must be met:

  • The idea must have an innovative, digital or knowledge-oriented character.
  • Individuals or teams of up to three people, aged 18 and living in Lower Saxony, are eligible for funding.
  • No other scholarships (e.g. EXIST) may exist in parallel.
  • The company has not yet been founded at the start of the scholarship.
  • An accompanying institution (university, research institution, etc.) must be available.

 

If these requirements are met, there is a good chance that you will be able to start your company within the framework of the NBank Startup Scholarship and receive funding for a period of up to eight months.

The following added value is included for you:

  • Students, trainees and people without a degree receive 1,000 € per month.
  • Persons who have completed their training or studies receive 2,000 € per month.
  • Social expenses are already included in the funding amount and will not be reimbursed additionally.
